Who says you can’t experience nature and good air quality in Bangkok? Set your alarm for early morning and come enjoy some warm-up exercise in the park before setting off walking or biking along the green and leafy path. Admire the flowers and get to know the plant varieties. 

 

Then stop by the Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium for a visit. The parks are easily accessible by public transport. You can take the BTS or MRT and walk from there.

Romaneenart Park: Breath in nice weather and enjoy running at an old prison

Romaneenart Park

“Romaneenart Park” is not just an ordinary park because before opening to be a public park to walk and enjoy, it used to be an old prison during the reign of King Rama 5 which got the idea from Singapore’s Brixton Prison contained the highest stability as a construction model later changed its name to Bangkok Remand Prison. 

 

The prison was transformed into a public park by Bangkok and all Thai people presented to Queen Sirikit, the Queen Royal on the occasion of the 60th anniversary in 1995. The name Romaneenart was granted in the meaning of the dependable lady. It is open for the public to walk and exercise. There are also playgrounds, flower gardens, and fountains for you to breathe in beautiful scenery comfortably.
