• Thai SELECT Classic is awarded to Thai restaurants of excellent quality. The dishes have a standard taste of authentic Thai Cuisine with considerably good service. It also consider that what restaurants offer is value for money.
• Thai SELECT Casual, only Thai restaurants in international countries can get this award. Thai restaurants offer Thai foods with a Thai taste, but their services are limited such as fast food restaurants or food outlets at a food court, and etc.
• Thai SELECT UNIQUE, only Thai restaurants in Thailand can get this award. This is granted to restaurants in Thailand that offer Thai food local uniqueness such as Southern Thai food, Northern Thai food, and etc.

For Thai SELECT Products, the award is offered for Thai food products such as instant Thai curries, condiments, and Thai desserts that have been prepared in the traditional and authentic Thai style. 

Standards for Thai SELECT Certification

Getting the Thai SELECT certification isn't easy. Restaurants that want to be recognized have to meet strict requirements about their food, how real it is, their service, and how good the whole meal is. They have to follow these important rules:

• Operate for a minimum of six months.
• Not be a single-dish restaurant 
  • Rice curry shop
  • Made-to-order restaurant
  • Rice soup shop
  • Cafés focusing primarily on desserts and beverages
• Have a seating capacity of at least 40 seats with service staff
• Ensure that no less than 80% of the menu comprises Thai food items
• Maintain a clean and attractive atmosphere, kitchen, bathroom, and overall environment.
