Bangsaen42 is one of the highlights on the Bangsaen Marathon race calendar, which consists of 3 premier races in total. The series has also included the WA Platinum Label-holding Bangsaen21 Half Marathon and the 10K race Bangsaen10. The event is held annually every November in Bangsaen. It is the first and only full marathon race in Southeast Asia that provides rewards for amateur and elite runners.
