BANGSAEN42 Chonburi Marathon is one of the most famous road races in Thailand.

Bangsaen42 is one of the highlights on the Bangsaen Marathon race calendar, which consists of 3 premier races in total. The series has also included the WA Platinum Label-holding Bangsaen21 Half Marathon and the 10K race Bangsaen10. 

This year, the event returns on Sunday, 9 November 2025, welcoming runners from Thailand and around the world. BANGSAEN42 is often called the “World-Class Marathon by the Beach.” and it has been the first and only full marathon race in Southeast Asia that provides rewards for amateur and elite runners.

What Runners Should Know

Every participant must pick up their own bib and race shirt in person. No proxy collection is allowed. The course is officially measured, and many athletes use this event as a qualifying race for international marathons. All runners will enjoy scenic views of the Gulf of Thailand, lively cheering points, and a strong sense of community throughout the course.
