Buriram Marathon 2025 which is sponsored by Chang Natural Mineral Water, is ready to kick off on January 25, 2025. The 9th year of this grand event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with new surprises and exciting updates aimed at improving the experience for runners.
For event highlights, there are 4 race categories:
- Marathon (42.195 km)
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- Mini Marathon (10 km)
- Fun Run (4.554 km)
Starting in 2017 with just 7,000 runners, this year has over 32,000 runners, 7,000 volunteers, and 64,578 followers and supporters, bringing the total to hundreds of thousands of participants. The event is regarded as another remarkable sporting event, transforming into a yearly event in Buriram Province.
What’s New in Buriram Marathon 2025?
- Free Real-Time Photos: All runners will receive free real-time photos captured during the race.
- Lucky Draw Prizes: 50 participants from each category have a chance to win prizes worth over 1.3M THB in total
- Tokyo Marathon Support: Top 10 non-professional runners, both male and female, will get financial support for registration, travel, and accommodation for the Tokyo Marathon if they got lotto selection.
Special Rewards
- Personal Best Reward: Runners who achieve a new personal best at the marathon will receive free grilled pork as a celebratory treat.
- Lucky Draw Highlights: Prizes include MotoGP VIP tickets, PT gas cards, Yamaha and Honda motorcycles, and more.
