Royal Park Rajapruek
Zone 1: The Archway Commemorating the King’s Greatness: This area presented a video of the events of 5 May 1946 – His Majesty the King’s Investiture Ceremony and the first Royal Address to his subjects “I shall reign with righteousness for the happiness and benefit of the Siam people”. This was the portal to the “Six Decades of the Great Development King”. This section also featured photographs of His Majesty’s many visits to Thailand’s rural regions.
Zone 2: The Prelude: This area presented memorable movies from His Majesty’s visit to his subjects in rural areas of Thailand while staying at regional Royal palaces in all four parts of the Kingdom. Seeing the people’s suffering and problems, His Majesty was resolved to help ease the hardship and see his subjects lead happy and fulfilling lives.
Zone 3: From the Palace to the People: The third sector presented the Royal Projects in Chitralada Palace initiated by His Majesty the King to improve Thai agriculture. His Majesty established the “Royal Chitralada Agricultural Project” within the Palace to conduct a research on various aspects of agriculture and to find appropriate problem-solving measures for farming which is the main occupation for the majority of the Thai people.
Zone 4: Kindness of His Majesty the King to the Thai People: This section focuses on the Thailand’s water infrastructure: irrigation for agriculture, check dams to retain water, the royal rain-making project, the Chaipattana Aerator for water treatment and the “Kaem Ling” (monkey cheek) to excavate canals, create reservoirs and flood water draining channels.
